Welcome to my website--which I am always working on. I am an exhibit designer/consultant for hire, working in the Atlanta/Decatur, Georgia area. I am available for contract work by time period or by project.
Designers can't get by with a resume explaining their various skills; we have to have proof via a portfolio. I have more images than I can possibly post, so this website is just a small sample of my exhibit and graphic design work. What is not shown here is how I can also create construction drawings, manage design projects, create and manage budgets, and even join installation crews when needed. Please take a look through the various areas of design work and drop me a line with any questions or comments. Let me know if you want me to show samples of something specific and I'll make it happen.

In the course of my exhibit design career, I have a developed a wide range of design abilities. My core skill is formulating creative design solutions. I'm also capable of creating the budgets, leading internal staff, and managing outside vendors, leading these teams to a successful installation. I am primarily a creative designer, but I’m also able to produce detailed CAD drawings for everything I design: from space planning to archival display cases. I have the skill to review and sign-off on third-party drawings for production. I am involved with developing audio/visual material. I am capable of creating or overseeing graphic design projects (including production) as well as specifying budgets and equipment. I take a sense of ownership with all my projects, from a 60-acre outdoor space or a small interpretive tabletop display.
• VectorWorks and Strata 3D, CAD and 3D design applications. I use these to create photo realistic exhibit design renderings and production drawings.
• Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop. I use these for graphic design and production.
• MS Office, Excel and Word. I use these for communication and budgeting.
• I am also proficient in marker, pen, pencil rendering and illustration. As a designer, I always start with a pen and a sketchbook when discussing design solutions.
I am a solo, singer/songwriter. I perform around the Atlanta area, mostly in tea or coffee shops.
I am a soccer player. I enjoy informal games on Saturday mornings year around.
I love science and reading about all sorts of scientific subjects.
I look forward to hearing from you!
